The first artist whose session is released for our December Fridays virtual advent calendar is Carrie Feller! You may recognize her from previous sessions with her bands Hours and Hexa, but in this performance she is showcasing some great new material by herself, backed only by a singular track rather than a full group. The two songs Carrie performed are immersive, dark and synth-driven numbers, which are accented by a drum track and unique effects that take already soaring vocals to new heights. Carrie’s music has always struck a chord with us, so it was a no brainer having her back.
