Matt Caskitt and the Breaks

Our newest session is with SD locals Matt Caskitt and the Breaks. This band brought their upbeat tunes to us and maintained a great level of energy throughout the whole performance. It is always beyond impressive to see a drummer in a group also be the lead vocalist. This combo tends to lead towards an expressive style of playing that really brings the rhythm section to new heights, delivered in a much more intense and prolific way, given that singing lead vocals is such a demanding exercise in itself. Caskitt and crew really harnessed such a power and we couldn’t help but have a great time with this one. Really awesome job on all fronts, you’ll be jammin this one to the loudest decibel. Enjoy!
