We are please to present the debut full-length album from Dark Black! YAH is a triumphant display of swirling indie rock turned up with more acceleration than the surf inspired bands of the mid aughts. The subdued vocals sit perfectly amongst the magnificent shoegaze layers that the guitars and synths are providing here, and the rhythm section is a driving force, agressive and upbeat. The optimism that the tempo alone brings to this dense instrumentation is very refreshing; the album is incredibly well-produced, with no sound lost underneath another. You can really picture the vision that Dark Black intended to conjure with this new record. It washes over you like a warm wave and lets you look around its vast ocean once you’re taken under, and you’re gonna like what you see once you realize you can breathe easy in its space. It’s truly our delight to have a hand in distributing out into the world this winter!
